Three dreamy kitchen floor ideas

For every budget for that matter. Now, for a long time I had the impression that kitchen floors should consist in only tiles, tiles and more tiles.  This was somehow in  my teenage years, when the majority of kitchens that I saw used tile flooring. Don’t get me wrong tiles are amazing,  especially if you pick a dreamy model, affordable in most cases and super easy to clean. Got this little obsession from my momma, nobody wants to spend a lot of time cleaning, don’t they?

So for today, let’s see three dreamy kitchen floor ideas. Tiles, vinyl plank flooring and herringbone.

When it comes to tiles, like I said, I’d go for a more special type, maybe something with interesting pattern or matte concrete grey tiles. Pair them with mono cabinets and there you go.  Another thingy that I like is black and white flooring.

The awesome part of using vinyl plank flooring isn’t just that is a more affordable version of hard wood but it is quite durable. Most of the times you can see the difference in texture. Plus besides kitchen they are great for other rooms also, including humidity-prone areas. Yes, I’m talking about basement & bathroom. The flooring used above is from GoHaus.

And my favorite from the bunch, herringbone floors! They are so, so dreamy, especially if the homeowners keep the original floors. Imagine those, beautiful, beautiful, French kitchens.  Ok, I agree, this one isn’t the most practical type of flooring, but hey, we’re just human… If you aren’t into cooking that much, ha! This could be a perfect pick for your dreamy kitchen. If you do cook & co, I suggest to go for one of the above.

So, tell me, what’s your favorite? What types of floors do you have in your kitchen?
