A modern renovated farm house in The Netherlands

Before being turned into a house, 25 years ago, this building was a barn, built in 1730 in the countryside surrounding The Hague, which is now a residential area. The Hague is so, so beautiful, I’ve been there this summer,  and besides all the dreamy houses, the people are so friendly and nice. Ok, back to our matters now..

The house has nine rooms, not all pictures in this post, but raw materials preside in all, wood, ceramic or marble. Yes, those massive wood beans throughout have a luxurious feel to them.

This whole space is modern yet comfy without losing its original rustic origins.
