I’m in desperate need of a vacation and I can’t stop looking at homes with a vacay vibe to them, like this gorgeous recently renovated villa on Sikinos island in Greece.
Yes, Greece is on my vacation short list, but I didn’t book anything yet.
Kapsimalis Architects were tasked to revamp and preserve this old traditional building that overlooks the Aegean sea and dry landscape of Sikinos. They preserved the original shell of the house replacing the entrances, reconstructing the floor with smooth cement plaster in an earthy brown color, while repainting the walls and showcasing a fab wood beam ceiling.
The furniture and decor pieces are a combination of antiques and modern picks, carefully chosen to give the space a luxe island style.
