4 Things to do with an empty wall in your bedroom

Imagine that you have got a perfect headboard, with a neat dressing table and bedding set up, but still your bedroom feels a little empty. Despite everything that you have tried, you still haven’t covered that empty space that is your wall. I know that decorating a wall is not easy at all and sometimes it can be a downright pain in the ass, but if you want to get the best look out of your bed, you have to address its wall. In this article, I am going to highlight four things that you can do with the empty space over your bed so that you can take your wall decorating to the next level. So, without further ado, let continue with the list so that you can select something that appeals to you.

1. Paint the Wall with a Vibrant Color

Painting the wall behind your bed with a different and a vibrant colour than the rest of the room might give the overall room a look that you were looking for. It is a very simple way to achieve something different for your room without going overboard. You can even let your inner artist flow by designing the wall with a different pattern that matches with the overall look of the room.

2. Add a Wall Mural or a Painting

One of my favourite ways to decorate an empty wall is by putting up a mural or a painting. Whenever I want to give my room a new look, I go for a new mural and can achieve so much without doing so little. Moreover, if someone you know has moved into a new house, you can also take a look at photo gifts ideas as such gifts are going to help your friend or family put the whole room together.

3. Hang Mirrors

Instead of letting your walls go empty, you can even hang a mirror on it. Now, something that most people don’t know about mirrors is that it reflects the light in your room. If you carefully place it, you can easily make your room feel a lot bigger and brighter without spending money or time. You should try hanging a piece of oversized mirror on the wall with the sole purpose of accentuating the look of the room, rather than to see yourself in it.

4. Add Sculptural Sconces

If you have a creative side to yourself, I can feel you if you want your room to ooze of aesthetic stuff. A sculpture is a very neat and novel way of decorating a wall as it will give your room a very artistic look. If you have got more murals or art pieces inside your room, it is going to fit very well. You can also install a whole wall mounted dressing table where you can put little pieces of ancient sculptures. These eye-catching sculptures are going to bring in the style, meanwhile covering your wall so that it doesn’t feel empty.
