The very lovely one-bedroom, one-bathroom apartment of young designer Lauren McGrath of McGrath II, on Manhattan’s Upper East Side.
The apartment is located in a landmarked Georgian mansion from the 1980s, designed by architects Clinton and Russell, the building features high ceilings, working fireplaces, and wrought-iron banisters. Aww, and the interior was originally designed by Ogden Codman, Jr. & Edith Wharton, authors of The Decoration of Houses, an interior design tome first published in 1897.
“The goal is to design rooms that you never want to leave.”
Lauren
I think she perfectly achieved the goal with this stylish and bright apartment.
